Story of Sinking: On 28 October 1833, wreck Maria drifted to Kõruse village. The ship did not have a rigging and was unmanned. Some casks of tar and timber were on board. The ship (commanded by captain Wirrmann) had been on her way from Stockholm to Rio de Janeiro. Homeport was Stockholm.
