Hukulugu: The Cardiff ship (captain D. M. Spooner and 18 crew members) beached in the waters of Tagamõisa while on her way from Hartlepool to Kronstadt. The deck cabins broke apart and therefore it was not possible to salvage items and ship's documents. The aft part of the ship until the mid-mast was shattered and it was believed that the whole ship will break apart. According to the locals the water at Tinarahu was higher than it had ever been before. The salvage operations were very difficult, the storm was disturbing works.
