History: Russian MRTK Baltika-type fishing trawler, which was used for fishing in Estonian waters in late autumn 1979.
Story of Sinking: The ship moved behind Osmussaar to search for a shelter from the wind in a stormy weather in late autumn 1979, but ran aground on the E side of the island due to carelessness and could not get afloat again. The crew abandoned the ship and went on board of other fishing ships. The winter's drift ice and storms pushed the wreck ashore and broke it into two.
