Story of Sinking: | On her way from Fernambuck to Saint Petersburg, the English ship under the command of captain William Hunter shipwrecked and broke, at 1.30 PM on 8 September 1829. The crew comprising of nine men, the captain and a pilot from Copenhagen, escaped in the ship's boat to Vaindloo Island. The rigging was salvaged. | ||
