Story of Sinking: On Monday evening, 7 May (N.S.), the English brig Undaunted (captain James Rooney) was on her way from Sunderland to Kronstadt, when in a thick fog she hit a reef near Naissaar. The fog appeared already when the ship was in the proximity of Pakri islands, so precautions were taken to avoid an accident. The ship rammed the reef strongly and immediately obtained a leak. The crew was soon forced to leave the ship, which turned into a wreck.
