In September 1871, the ship got into distress near Naissaar. The ship obtained a leakage in a severe storm and began to sink into the water. They still managed to get the ship to shore at Naissaar. The cargo was salvaged. On 17 February 1872, the Naissaar commune administration reported to the county magistrate of East-Harrien that the storm and high sea took the wreck adrift.
